Summit program for elementary and middle schools

הוראה

Psega Cyber is a study program in the field of technology and computers, which currently exists nationwide in approximately 80 schools across the country.

The contents and methods of study vary between the different age groups, starting with the computer basics study program for the first grade, through an introduction to the cyber world and programming for the third to sixth grades, a deepening program in advanced technological fields for the middle school, and up to an advanced programming course for the high schools.

The program is approved by the Gefen route (code 1400), suitable both for the Telan format in the educational system and as an enrichment program after school hours.

Each meeting in the program consists of 3 parts:

1. Theoretical study presenting the topic of the meeting

2. Experience through interactive learning

3. A challenge task and the creation of a personal product

All the learning and the reference materials are activated in a model system and are available from anywhere, so that the students can go back and study even from home and receive additional challenge tasks. The sessions are adapted to face-to-face learning and online learning.

The Psega Cyber program has been operating since 2012 in hundreds of schools, community centers and centers of excellence and has thousands of graduates throughout the country and about 600 graduates in the online program.

The program is approved by the Ministry of Education As an external program in the green route and in the GFN system and works in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and the security agencies.

The meetings in the program consist of three parts:
the first partIncludes a theoretical study aimed at generating interest and presenting the field in a broad way, how it contributes to the world and where we meet it.
The second partConsists of independent study at a personal pace, with advanced interactive learning and personal challenges, to encourage optimal learning and active participation in the meeting.
in the third partThe students apply what they learn and create their own product. The personal creation allows them to experience the making, to activate the imagination and to produce in a new field that they were not familiar with until now. The practical part is carried out accompanied by the group guide and the possibility of working from home using the student's personal computerized system.
Since the lesson plans include professional material, the teacher on behalf of the school must undergo training (the training will be delivered online) and at the end of it he will be certified by Psega to deliver the designated educational material for which he was trained.

The annual study subjects are chosen together with the high-tech industry and are adapted to the global technological trend. The program includes a number of central study areas and, in addition, enrichment sessions to connect and diversify between topics, as detailed in the syllabus attached to this document. The students in the program get a wide and varied knowledge about the technology around us. They see the 'behind the scenes' of the Internet and advanced digital systems and are able to understand how things work, what they should be careful of and how they can integrate and create within the technological world, with their abilities and interests. They get a new angle to look at the world and high abilities - at a young age. Every student gets access to the Psega model system where the educational content is located. The student can practice and repeat the study material by connecting to an online system from any computer both at school and at home (if God forbid he has to return to distance learning) during the entire school year in which the school is registered.
